Hi Friend,

I’m excited about a couple of things coming up next week. I’m going to be in Denver for almost a week and the days are filling up with meetings, dinners and happy hours with colleagues, friends and family. As mentioned, I would love to see you while I’m in town. I’ve secured Tuesday evening for all of you, and wanted to know if you would like to join me for a drink and/or dinner.

Tuesday, December 10th, I’ll be in the RiNO District and plan to start the evening at Corsica Wine Bar at 2801 Walnut Street about 5/5:30pm. (The bar is beautiful, though its website doesn’t do it justice.) I know several of you said you’d love to connect. I would love to see you, too. Let me know if you would be interested and available Tuesday - we can all grab drinks together at the Wine Bar and/or head to dinner together. If you can only do one or the other, that’s great, too. Either way, let me know and I’ll add you to the text stream.

Next Saturday, December 14th, we’ll be doing another quiz night at the Hungry Monk in Chandler. It starts at 8pm and goes until 10pm. I’ll be there at about 7/7:15pm. There were 5 of us last month and we had a blast. I know a couple of you mentioned you’d like to join us the next time around. I hope you can make it!

There are a few fun things percolating in the new year. I’m looking forward to sharing when I have more info. Right now, I’m working on a trip to Paris - aiming for spring. We’ll see where things take me. And maybe a concert at the Mesa Arts Center. And, at some point, I want to plan a trip to Chicago. Wonderful things always come up, so I’ll keep you posted.

I’ll be sending out a survey in the next week or so about days/times/next book ideas to reignite our book club come January. One of our members had a great suggestion: let’s kick off the book club with how our last book (On Our Best Behavior by Elise Loehnen) has changed how we think, feel and/or act. I loved that. She made an excellent point: how we’re affected by what we read is more important than whether we've finished reading it or not. :) I agree.

I hope you are doing well and look forward to connecting with you sometime again before the end of the year. Wishing you a beautiful holiday season filled with much love and friendship.

Lots of love,

Christine
